City Tour in Lima

We will begin our tour exploring the sophisticated district of Miraflores. Here, we will visit the emblematic Parque del Amor, a charming space that will offer you spectacular views of the Lima coast and the immensity of the Pacific Ocean. Then, we will continue with a panoramic view of the Huaca Pucllana, an imposing pre-Inca ceremonial temple in the shape of a pyramid that has preserved much of its structure over the centuries, testimony of ancient civilizations. Our route will also take us through the picturesque El Olivar Forest, located in the San Isidro district, recognized as the financial center of the city, where history and modernity are intertwined among centuries-old olive trees.

We will enter the Historic Center of Lima, a vibrant area full of history, recognized as a World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO since 1991. In Plaza San Martín, we will admire its beautiful neocolonial architecture, its traditional balconies and the old colonial mansions that surround it. We will also make a stop to appreciate the historic Hotel Bolívar, an icon of the city. We will continue towards the majestic Plaza Mayor (Plaza de Armas), the heart of colonial Lima, where you can admire such significant buildings as the imposing Government Palace, the grandiose Cathedral of Lima, the Municipal Palace, the Archbishop's Palace and the historic Desamparados Station. We will explore its main streets and monuments, feeling the atmosphere of the old viceregal capital.

To conclude our tour, we will enter one of the most important religious complexes of the 17th century: the Convent of San Francisco. Here, we will explore its impressive ancient library, the choir, the main cloister and, most intriguingly, the mysterious underground crypts, popularly known as the Catacombs of Saint Francis. This site will offer you a unique vision of the religious and social history of Lima.
