CODE OF CONDUCT AGAINST SEXUAL EXPLOITATION OF BOYS, GIRLS AND ADOLESCENTS (ESNNA) IN TOURISM
INCA EXPEDITION PERU E.I.R.L. is firmly committed to protecting the rights of children and adolescents (NNA) and preventing their sexual exploitation in the context of tourism.
WHAT IS SEXUAL EXPLOITATION OF CHILDREN?
Sexual exploitation of children and adolescents is defined as the use of their bodies for sexual, pornographic or erotic purposes, in exchange for payment, promise of payment or other benefit (food, clothing, mobile devices, etc.).
LEGAL FRAMEWORK
This ESNNA Code is based on Ministerial Resolution No. 430-2018-MINCETUR and Law No. 28251, which criminalizes the sexual exploitation of minors in Peru.
COMMITMENT OF INCA EXPEDITION PERU E.I.R.L.
In accordance with our values and internal policies, we commit to:
- Do not Promote Exploitation: Avoid promoting destinations or programs that facilitate the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents.
- Do not report on places of exploitation: Do not disclose information about places where sexual exploitation of children and adolescents takes place.
- Do not facilitate exploitation: Do not take tourists to places where sexual exploitation of children and adolescents takes place, including accommodation or transportation establishments.
- Do not facilitate abuse: Do not facilitate the rental of vehicles to people who may use them to sexually abuse or exploit Children and adolescents.
- Prevent Access to Risky Places: Prevent children and adolescents from accessing establishments (bars, hotels, etc.) where they may be sexually exploited.
- Prevent the Participation of Employees: Take measures to prevent employees of the company facilitate the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents.
- Establish Reporting Channels: Establish internal channels to report cases of sexual exploitation of children and adolescents and notify the competent authorities (MINCETUR, etc.).
- Implement Prevention Policies: Develop and disseminate internal policies to prevent the sexual exploitation of children, both within the company and with our suppliers.
- Train Employees: Train all employees on the prevention of sexual exploitation of children.
- Inform Travelers: Inform travelers about the legal consequences of the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents in Peru.
- Display the Code of Conduct: Display this Code of Conduct in a visible place for employees and clients.
OUR ADDITIONAL COMMITMENT
- Compliance with Law 29408: Do not promote or allow the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents or any other crime in the development of our activities, in accordance with Law No. 29408.
- Report of Cases:We invite our clients to report any case of sexual exploitation of children that they witness.
